POORNACHANDRA KUMAR Noted spiritual orator Paripoornananda Swamy underlined the need to identify and encourage talent in students at a programme organised by Andhra Pradesh Students Joint Action Committee (APSJAC), here on Tuesday. He, along with Andhra Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation (APTDC) Chairman Nookasani Balaji, presented merit certificates to talented students. Along with the academic curriculum, he called upon the need to inculcate moral values and discipline to students. “The conduct of such events to recognise and reward talent will boost self-confidence in the students and kindle the zeal in them to achieve more,” he added. A.P. Students JAC State president Hemadri Yadav recalled the efforts taken by the body over the last nine years to promote unity and nurture discipline in students. Apart from conducting several awareness drives, the JAC has been fighting for the students’ rights, he added. Jana Sena Party (JSP) youth leader Arani Jagan, hotelier Bharat Kumar Reddy, educationalist Murali Mohan Yadav, MCT corporator Anna Anitha took part.
