Ready-to-cook food company iD Fresh Food has set up a greenfield manufacturing plant in Hyderabad and plans to have a facility each, taking the third party manufacturing route, in Indore and Ahmedabad in coming months.

The new plant in Hyderabad, spread across 40,000 sq. ft has doubled the capacity for batter and parotas production. In addition to these core products, it could also be used to manufacture chapatis in future, said CEO (India) Rajat Diwaker, without sharing specifics regarding the capacity or the investment. The plant about 200 people.

“Hyderabad is a key market for us, and this plant will not only cater to the city but also serve surrounding regions including Andhra Pradesh, Vidarbha and Chhattisgarh,” he said in an interaction here on Friday. With the setting up of the plant, the company will be shutting its existing facility in the city.

Stating that the new facility was commissioned earlier this year, he said it is one of the four plants owned by the company – Bengaluru, Mumbai and Delhi hosting the others. The company, which has a range of products, also operates through nine third party manufacturing facilities. The plant in Indore is nearing completion and the one proposed in Ahmedabad will be ready in about six months, he said.

The company had posted a revenue of ₹680 crore in FY 25. On plans for an initial public offering, Mr.Diwaker said the company may consider an IPO after 2-3 years.
