Income Tax Department personnel were conducted searches at a textile showroom in the town for the second consecutive day on Saturday. According to sources, the officials entered the showroom, located near the C.N. Annadurai statue on Gandhiji Road-Anna Salai junction near the Ayyasamy Vandaiyar Bus Stand (Old Bus Stand), around 10 a.m. on Friday and asked the customers to leave the premises immediately. The search and verification of documents were still on.
