South Western Railway is operating a special train between Yeshwantpur and Dhanbad, and between Sir M. Visvesvaraya Terminal in Bengaluru and Malda town railway station to prevent the rush of passengers during Holi and the upcoming summer season.

Train No. 06563 Yeshwantpur-Dhanbad Weekly Express Special will depart from Yeshwantpur at 7:30 a.m. every Saturday from February 21 to April 25 and will reach Dhanbad at 10:15 a.m. on Mondays. Correspondingly, Train No. 06564 Dhanbad-Yeshwantpur Weekly Express Special will depart from Dhanbad at 8:45 p.m. every Monday from February 23 to April 27 and will arrive at Yeshwantpur at 9:30 p.m. on Wednesdays.

Stoppage points for the trains are Yelahanka, Dharmavaram, Anantapur, Gooty, Dhone, Kurnool city, Mahabubnagar, Kacheguda, Kazipet, Ramagundam, Balharshah, Nagpur, Itarsi, Pipariya, Narsinghpur, Madan Mahal, Katni, Satna, Prayagraj Chheoki, Mirzapur, Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Jn., Bhabua Road, Sasaram, Anugrah Narayan Road, Gaya Jn., Koderma, Hazaribagh Road, Parasnath, and Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Gomoh in both directions.

The special train will consist of 21 coaches comprising two AC three-tier coaches, 13 sleeper-class coaches, four general second class coaches, and two SLR/D coaches.

Train No. 06565 SMVT Bengaluru-Malda Town Weekly Express Special will depart from Sir M. Visvesvaraya Terminal Bengaluru at 11:40 p.m. every Sunday from February 22 to 25 and will reach Malda Town at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesdays. Correspondingly, Train No. 06566 Malda Town-SMVT Bengaluru Weekly Express Special will depart from Malda Town at 4:00 p.m. every Wednesday from February 25 to March 11 and will arrive at Sir M. Visvesvaraya terminal Bengaluru at 12:45 p.m. on Fridays.

The stoppage points are Krishnarajapuram, Bangarapet, Jolarpettai, Katpadi, Renigunta, Gudur, Ongole, Vijayawada, Rajahmundry, Duvvada, Kottavalasa,Vizianagaram, Srikakulam Road, Palasa, Brahmapur, Balugaon, Khurda Road ,Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Bhadrak, Balasore, Kharagpur, Andul, Dankuni, Barddhaman, Bolpur (Shantiniketan), Rampur Hat, and New Farakka in both directions.

This special train will consist of 20 coaches comprising one first AC-cum-AC two-tier, two AC two-tier, two AC three-tier, nine sleeper-class, four general second-class, and two SLR/D coaches.
