Medicover Hospitals, Hyderabad, has entered into a strategic collaboration with Evergreen Healthcare to strengthen emergency air ambulance services and coordinate patient transfers across India and select international corridors. The partnership is aimed at establishing defined referral pathways for air ambulance operations, inter-city critical-care transfers, and international patient movement for complex cases requiring advanced tertiary and quaternary care. Dr. Nayan Sriramula, Head of Emergency Medicine at Medicover Hospitals, said emergency care begins well before a patient reaches the hospital. “Emergency care does not begin at the hospital door. Structured transfer systems, particularly air ambulance services and international coordination, are essential to ensure patients have the right care at the right time,” he said.
