Following the threat message, personnel from bomb disposal squad and police teams rushed to the spot and carried out a thorough inspection of the premises and surrounding areas. Officials from S.R. Nagar and Wilson Garden police stations along with an anti-sabotage squad visited the location and conducted detailed checks as part of precautionary measures. Security in and around the Passport Office was tightened while the inspection was underway. Police sources said that no suspicious objects were found during the preliminary search. Further investigation has been launched to trace the source of the email and identify the person behind the hoax bomb threat.
