The accused, identified as Sandeep Kumar Reddy, a food delivery worker from Bachupally, allegedly targeted restaurants and hostels during night hours. Police said he was addicted to online betting and resorted to theft to fund his activities, subsequently disposing of stolen property to finance his gambling.
