Gulf nations press Trump to keep fighting until Iran is weakened

Gulf allies including Saudi Arabia and the UAE are urging the U.S. to continue its military campaign against Iran, saying the country has not been weakened enough. Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has told U.S. officials that further action would serve long-term regional interests.

The developments come even as the U.S. signals it may be willing to end the war without securing a deal to reopen the Strait of Hormuz.
