Gujarat High Court Chief Justice Sunita Agarwal and her family offered special prayers at the historic Lord Shiva temple at Srimukhalingam in Srikakulam district, said the press release issued by the temple authorities on Sunday. The temple’ schief priest Naidugari Rajasekhar welcomed the Chief Justice and her family members in a traditional manner and performed puja. He explained that the temple was constructed in the 6th century by the Eastern Ganga dynasty and controlled by Archaeological Survey of India (ASI). Justice Sunita and her family members observed the temple’ sarchitecture and equired about the culture and traditions of people living in Srikakulam district. Mr. Rajasekhar urged the government to provide more facilities in the temple and develop Srimukhalingam as a model village with higher allocation of funds to improve civic amenities such as roads, street lights and drainage system.
