There will be no public grievance day meeting and other special camps at the Collector Office until further notice in view of the announcement of general elections to the State Assembly, according to Collector R. Rathinasamy. In a statement on Sunday, he said the Model Code of Conduct had come into effect. Hence, the weekly public grievance day and other public grievances meeting had been suspended. However, a petition box would be kept at the Collector’s office and the people could drop their petitions in it.
