The music and action teaser of the much-anticipated Tamil film Leader, starring Legend Saravanan in the lead role, was unveiled at a grand event in Chennai. Directed by R. S. Durai Senthilkumar, the film is slated for a worldwide theatrical release on April 3.

The launch event witnessed the presence of several prominent film personalities, members of the cast and crew, and an enthusiastic audience of fans. The event began on a deeply evocative note with the Thiruppugazh composition “Muthai Tharu Pathi Thirunagai,” originally composed by Arunagirinathar. The spiritual energy of the piece set the tone for the evening, creating an atmosphere of anticipation and reverence.

Lyricist Viveka, who has written two songs for the film, shared his thoughts:

“At the beginning of this musical event, when the Thiruppugazh song ‘Muthai Tharu Pathi Thirunagai’ composed by Arunagirinathar was played, I felt goosebumps all over my body. I have written two songs for this film, and both were wonderful experiences. After watching the teaser, it’s clear that this film is going to be for everyone.”

“If I have to talk about Legend Saravanan, I can’t figure out whether what he says becomes viral or if he speaks only what becomes viral. “We often go to that nearby shop. They sell clothes for ₹99, under ₹100. We would frequently go and check the shop, thinking that once we get ₹100, we could buy that dress. On one Deepavali occasion, we were given ₹500. We took that and went to the shop to buy clothes. In those days, if you could buy clothes for the entire family for ₹500, it was possible only at Saravana Stores.”

“At that moment, I bought dresses for my father, my younger brother, and my sister. But the price of the dress I had been eyeing had increased. The bill came to ₹590, and I only had ₹500. At that time, he said, ‘Give the remaining amount whenever you have it.’ Whether someone bought a ₹100 dress or a dress worth lakhs, he treated everyone with the same respect. He was a businessman who valued customers. I think that is the reason for his success.”
