The third Gururatnam Award, instituted by MGM Educational Institutions for excellence in education, will be presented by Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar on January 6. The event will be held at MGM Residential Public School, Kottarakkara at 9 a.m. The award carries a cash prize of ₹1 lakh, a citation, and a plaque. B.S. Manoj, who serves as professor and associate dean at the Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology, Thiruvananthapuram, and P.A. Sajimon, senior commerce teacher at Sri Vidyadhiraja Higher Secondary School in Vendar, Kottarakkara, are the recipients of this year’s Gururatnam Award.
