General, Expenditure, Police Observers land in Tenkasi district

The General, Expenditure and Police Observers designated for ensuring free and fair polls in the five Assembly constituencies of the district reached here on Thursday.

Indian Administrative Service officers Neeraj Kumar (for Kadayanallur and Tenkasi segments – 99442 15570), Krishnakumar Singh (Sankarankovil and Vasudevanallur Reserved constituencies – 99442 15580) and Eesha Priya (Alangulam segment – 99442 15560) are the General Observers.

Indian Revenue Service Officers Abhay Kanta Das (for Sankarankovil Reserved constituency – 99449 31772), Raj Kumar Singh (Vasudevanallur Reserved segment and Kadayanallur – 99440 81773) and Ashok Gautam (Tenkasi and Alangulam constituencies – 99440 91771) have been nominated as Expenditure Observers.

Indian Police Service officer Sushant Kumar Saxena (99440 64439) is the Police Observer for all five Assembly constituencies of Tenkasi district.

“Complaints pertaining to poll code violations can be submitted personally with the General, Expenditure and the Police Observers, staying in the Government Guest House at Courtallam between 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. or over the phone,” said District Collector A. K. Kamal Kishore, who briefed the Observers about the preparations completed so far after the election was notified on Sunday last.

Superintendent of Police G. S. Madhavan and senior officials of the district participated in the meeting with the Observers.
