London, March 3: Mr. Churchill made an interesting addition to his wardrobe of hats during his visit to Belfast, to receive the Honorary Doctorate of Law of Queen’s University. He was presented with a paddy hat and a clay pipe stuck with band and was subsequently the victim of a boisterous “rag” in which he was compelled to wear the hat, carry shillelagh and ride in the streets on a jaunting car. Later in a speech he said he cherished the hope that some day all Ireland would be loyal, united within itself and united with the British Empire.
