Banner Film Society, in association with Alliance Francaise, will organise a French film festival at the Lenin Balavadi in Thiruvananthapuram on Sunday. Filmmaker Shyamaprasad will inaugurate the festival at 11 a.m. Margot Michaud, director, Alliance Francaise Thiruvananthapuram, will be the chief guest. The screenings will begin with Le Ravissement, directed by Iris Kaltenback at 9.30 a.m. Timbuktu directed by Abderrahmane Sissako will be screened at 11.15 a.m., followed by Borgo directed by Stephane Demoustier at 2 p.m. and Annie Colere directed by Blandine Lenoir at 4 p.m. Entry is free.
