Dr. Lakshmaiah IAS Study Circle has announced that it will provide free residential coaching for the UPSC civil services to underprivileged students across the State. “The initiative is part of the Public-Private-People partnership (PPP) model envisioned by Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu to promote inclusive and quality education,” said Andhra Pradesh State Veterinary Council (APVC) Chairman P.V. Lakshmaiah, who is also the honorary Chairman of the study circle. Addressing a media conference here on Wednesday along with Andhra Pradesh Southern Power Distribution Company Limited (APSPDCL) Chairman and Managing Director Sivashankar Lotheti, he said this initiative would be executed through ‘Venkatapathi Vidya Deevena’, a social organisation named after his grandfather. Mr. Lotheti, who called Mr. Lakshmaiah as his mentor in civil services preparation, hailed the initiative as benefitting the economically underprivileged students aspiring to get into public service.
