The Backward Classes Welfare Department has invited applications from eligible candidates belonging to BC, SC and ST communities of the erstwhile West Godavari district for free coaching for the Railway Recruitment Board Group D 2026 examination. District Backward Classes Welfare Officer V. Nagarani said the programme is being implemented as per the directions of the Andhra Pradesh Backward Classes Welfare Department in Vijayawada. In a statement issued on Friday, she said interested candidates should submit their applications to the BC Study Circle in Eluru on or before March 23. A total of 100 candidates will be selected for the programme. They will receive two months of free coaching along with a stipend and study material. Only candidates who have already applied for the Railway Recruitment Board Group D 2026 examination are eligible to apply for the training programme. Ms. Nagarani said the candidates would be selected on merit based on the marks obtained in the Class 10 examination. The selected candidates will start attending the coaching classes from March 25. Applicants should submit their biodata along with copies of the Class 10 marks memo, caste certificate, recently issued income certificate showing parental annual income not exceeding ₹1,00,000, Aadhaar card, bank passbook, a copy of the online application submitted for the Railway Group D examination and two passport size photographs. Applications should be submitted at the BC Study Circle office located at Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Municipal Corporation English Medium UP School, Vennavallivari Peta in Eluru.
