Four persons, including two juveniles, were apprehended with 60 grams of MDMA valued at ₹6 lakh by the Commissioner’s Task Force along with Sanathnagar police. The accused were identified as Songapu Hemanth, 23, and Mukkagalla Nagendra, 21, both consumers, along with two juveniles. Police said two other accused, Sai Nikhil Yadav and Aditya, are absconding. According to investigators, the juveniles were in contact with the absconding accused, who allegedly supplied MDMA. The contraband was procured at a lower price and sold to known customers at higher rates. Police said the group had recently purchased 60 grams of MDMA with the intention of distributing it in the city. The task force team apprehended the accused while they were in possession of the narcotic substance meant for delivery. The seized MDMA and the accused were handed over to Sanathnagar police station staff for further action. Officials said efforts are under way to trace and apprehend the absconding accused.
