Four people were arrested and 51 digital devices seized by the police in Ernakulam district as part of Operation P-Hunt, an anti-child pornography drive. The arrests were made in cases registered at Maradu, Palarivattom, and Thrikkakara police stations within the Kochi city limits, and at the Kuzhuppilly station in the Ernakulam rural limits. While raids were conducted at 36 locations in the city, 46 places were raided by the rural police. The State-wide drive aims to track down persons who watch, download, save, or share child pornography material on electronic media.
