Raghupathi Bhat launched an indefinite dharna in front of the Udupi Urban Development Authority (UUDA) office on Monday, alleging that the authority was not granting single site approval for 1.10 acres of his land at Badanidiyoor in Udupi taluk where he had planned to construct a resort. Mr. Bhat has alleged that the approval was pending for over two years at the behest of Udupi MLA Yashpal Suvarna inspite of complying with all norms.
