Stalin in Chennai. | Photo Credit: Special Arrangement Former AIADMK MLA Om Sakthi Segar joined the DMK in the presence of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and party president M. K. Stalin in Chennai. After the split in the AIADMK, he remained a loyalist of former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister O. Panneerselvam and headed the Puducherry unit of the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Workers’ Rights Retrieval Kazhagam. Following the switch over of Mr. Panneerselvam to the DMK camp, Mr. Segar also joined that party. A former ex-serviceman, Mr. Segar represented the Nellithope Assembly constituency in the Union Territory.
