A 65-year-old flower vendor was robbed of ₹10,000 at knife-point by two unidentified persons in Agrahara Dasarahalli of Magadi Road Police Station limits in the early hours of Saturday. The victim, Siddamadu, a resident of Agrahara Dasarahalli, has been selling flowers on a pushcart with his wife. As per the complaint, he was on his way to the City Market around 4 a.m. to purchase flowers with the cash when the incident occurred. According to police, two unidentified men reportedly intercepted him, threatened him with a knife, and demanded money. When he resisted, they allegedly forcefully took ₹10,000 in cash from his pocket and fled from the spot. The entire incident was recorded on a CCTV camera installed nearby. Shocked and frightened by the incident, the victim returned home and later discussed the matter with his family members before approaching the police and lodging a complaint. The police have registered a case of robbery, and efforts are underway to track down the accused.
