Yadgir CMC has installed streetlights on the stretch between the government degree college and Deputy Commissioner’s office. | Photo Credit: SPECIAL ARRANGEMENT After many years of absolute darkness at night, a stretch of around 1.5 km from the government degree college to the Deputy Commissioner’s office is now lit with the streetlights finally getting functional. National Highway 150, which passes through Yadgir city via the Deputy Commissioner’s office crossing, Subhas Chowk and Basaveshwar Gunj Circle, has had no streetlights in a few parts particularly, between the degree college and Deputy Commissioner’s office for years.
