SHETTIGAR The faithful observed Good Friday with solemnity and deep religious fervour in churches across Udupi and Dakshina Kannada districts marking the crucifixion and sacrifice of Jesus Christ on Friday, April 3. Retd. Bishop Gerald Isaac Lobo of Udupi Diocese led the liturgical services at the Milagres Catholic Cathedral, the official seat of the Bishop. In his message, the Bishop said, “Jesus Christ showed through his work that there is no greater love than the love of giving his life for his friend.
