Some may ask who created the world and human beings. The scriptures declare that God is the Creator, though He is not visible to our physical eyes. Therefore, we must accept the truths revealed by the elders, the Sastras, and the Acharyas. One should not reject the existence of the Creator merely because He is not perceptible to ordinary senses, nor should one argue against Him using limited human logic.

Our physical faculties have limited capabilities. For example, our ears can hear only within a specific range of sound intensity; they cannot perceive sounds below or above that range, equally, our eyes cannot see beyond a certain distance.

Acharya Ramanuja declares that the realisation of God and the experience of the Divine are possible only through the authority of the Sastras. In his work “Sri Bhashyam”, he refers to Sastra-yonitvat, emphasising that the Sastras alone are the valid means to know that which is beyond the reach of our senses and intellect.

Dr. Venkatesh said in a discourse that the rishis and azhwars are spiritual scientists. Through the subtle microscope of ”tapas”, they conducted profound inner research and revealed their realisations in the form of the Sastras and the Divya Prabandham. We, on the other hand, are like small children in the realm of spirituality. By learning, reflecting, and practising more and more with proper guidance, we gradually reach a state in which we can realise God and experience His Divinity.

Though the physical eyes cannot perceive God, He can be realised and experienced inwardly through pure insight or wisdom, and a heart sanctified by devotion.

Our Acharyas, through their illumined intellect and profound spirituality, have experienced the supreme divine bliss. When we walk in their footsteps with faith and discipline, we are also blessed to partake of that very same bliss.
