The Delhi High Court permitted Mr. Kejriwal to withdraw his petition after his counsel informed the Bench that he no longer wished to pursue the matter. “I will not press the petition. I will take the constitutional pleas at an appropriate stage,” Mr. Kejriwal’s senior lawyer submitted before the court. Additional Solicitor General S.V. Raju, appearing for the ED, stated that the agency will file an appeal against the trial court’s decision acquitting Mr. Kejriwal. “Accordingly, the petition is dismissed as withdrawn,” the court said.
