Kasturba Hospital, Manipal. | Photo Credit: SPECIAL ARRANGEMENT The Kasturba Hospital, Manipal and associated hospitals have restarted basic care facilities in cashless mode under the Employees’ State Insurance Scheme (ESIS), following the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with ESIS, according to a press release from the hospital. As of Wednesday, ESIS beneficiaries can avail cashless admission facilities. The renewal of the arrangement between the hospital and ESIS was temporarily held up due to various reasons. It was now resolved, thus ensuring that insured patients get uninterrupted access to quality basic health services.
