A 32-year-old electrician was killed after being hit by an unidentified speeding vehicle while crossing National Highway-44 near Shamshabad on Sunday morning. The victim was identified as Palamuru Vijay, a resident of Gaganpahad village in Rajendranagar. He was hit by an unidentified vehicle travelling at a high speed from Shamshabad towards Shadnagar when he was crossing the road for breakfast. The impact threw Vijay onto the road, causing severe bleeding injuries. He died at the spot before help could arrive. Police said a case has been registered and efforts are underway to identify the vehicle involved in the hit-and-run case.
