Anil Ambani is expected to appear before the ED for a second round of questioning. | Photo Credit: The Hindu The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Wednesday (February 25, 2026) attached Reliance Group chairman Anil Ambani’s Mumbai house, ‘Abode’, worth ₹3,716 crore under the anti-money laundering law. “ED has attached assets worth ₹3,716 crore in connection with investigations involving businessman Anil Ambani,” an ED official said. The 216-foot-tall house with 17 floors is located in Mumbai’s posh Pali Hill area. A provisional order has been issued under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) to attach the house in the case linked to an alleged bank fraud by his group company Reliance Communications, sources said. Mr. Ambani, 66, is likely to appear before the probe agency in Delhi for a second round of questioning. He first deposed in August 2025 when his statement was recorded under PMLA. With the latest order, the total value of the attachment in this case stands at ₹15,700 crore.
