The East City Corporation has initiated steps to fast-track land acquisition for a long-pending road project to improve connectivity between the Outer Ring Road (ORR) and the proposed Peripheral Ring Road (PRR). At a meeting held on February 27, Additional Commissioner Lokhande Snehal Sudhakar directed officials to expedite procedures related to the implementation of a 24-metre-wide road, as proposed in the Revised Master Plan (RMP)–2015. The road is planned as a Phase-1 project connecting the ORR to the PRR through Mahadevapura, Doddanekkundi, Pattandur Agrahara, and other areas within the corporation limits.
