Nine litigants were assisted in the e-desk filing process at the Free Legal Aid Camp organised by the School of Law, SASTRA at Nanjikottai in Thanjavur taluk on March 10. According to a University release, more than 70 petitions relating to various legal issues and public grievances were received at the camp organised by the C. S. Vaidyanathan Chair of Law and Development, School of Law, SASTRA at the Panchayat Union Middle School, Nanjikottai. Additionally, nine e-Desk registrations were completed at the camp which served as an important initiative in improving access to legal services and promoting awareness of citizens’ rights.
