The image is used for representative purposes only. | Photo Credit: GETTY IMAGES Residents of colonies and basties in Ward-5 under the Secunderabad Cantonment Board (SCB) have raised concerns over severe drinking water shortages, stating that water is currently being supplied only once every five to six days, causing hardship for local families. The SCB’s Ward-5 includes areas such as R&D Defence Colony and nearby localities around Patny, Paigah Colony, Indiramma Nagar and Viman Nagar. It has an estimated population of around 45,000 to 50,000 residents.
