The Telangana High Court on Friday directed the Inspectors of Bachupally, Dundigal and Jagadgirigutta police stations of Cyberabad commissionerate to file a report explaining who laid the road after breaking the compound wall of APR Pranav Antilia at Bachupally. Justice N.V. Shravan Kumar of the HC, who heard a writ petition filed by APR Pranav Antilia Welfare Association questioning demolition of the compound wall by HYDRAA and seeking restoration of the demolished compound wall, directed the authorities that the newly laid road should not be opened to public or commuters. The judge directed the Registry to list the matter again for hearing on April 7. The Association’s counsel informed the bench that two writ petitions had already been filed in the HC in 2025 after the compound wall of the Antilia was partially demolished. The HC then directed the authorities to maintain status quo in the matter. The petitioner contended that HYDRAA authorities on March 5 issued a notice to the association about demolition of the compound wall but did not specify the HC order issued in 2025 to maintain status quo in the matter. The petitioner’s counsel told the bench that HYDRAA authorities had laid a road after ‘illegally demolishing the compound wall’ in the presence of the three Inspectors who were accompanied by police personnel. The judge directed the authorities to maintain status quo for four weeks in the matter.
