Amma Makkal Munnetra Kazhagam general secretary T.T.V. Dhinakaran said on Saturday that the people of the State would vote out the “corrupt” DMK from power. Canvassing votes for the AMMK candidate M. Rajasekaran, who is taking on Minister for Municipal Administration K.N. Nehru in Tiruchi West constituency, Mr. Dhinakaran said that the DMK, which was known for its scientific corruption, had created a benchmark in looting public money in the last five years. Corruption had been the hallmark of the DMK rule ever since it assumed office in 2021. The Ministers had indulged in systematic corruption right from awarding contracts to postings and transfer of government employees and officers. The Enforcement Directorate had unearthed money laundering and corruption charges against Mr. Nehru..
