Post elections, the DMK functionaries at the Union and booth levels in Bodinayakkanur Assembly Constituency would be suitably rewarded with cash prizes worth ₹1 lakh and above based on their performance, said party district secretary and Lok Sabha MP Thanga Tamilselvan. Speaking at a workers’ meeting in Bodi on Saturday, in the presence of its candidate O. Panneerselvam (OPS) and other office-bearers, Mr. Tamilselvan said the functionaries who brought in the maximum number of votes in favour of the party would be rewarded with cash prizes.
