The District Crime Branch, Perambalur, has arrested three persons, including a woman, on charges of running a fake trust in the district and cheating many people of ₹29.75 lakh. The names of the arrested were given as K. Chellam, 55, D. Devakumar, 55, both of Lalgudi taluk in Tiruchi district, and K. Parthasarathy, 35, of Veppanthattai taluk in Perambalur district.
