Anbarasan asserting that the DMK government was “not against spirituality” and had facilitated the consecration of thousands of temples in recent years. The shelters, built in front of Sri Balasubramania Swamy Temple and Prasanna Yoga Anjaneyar Temple, were executed using ₹45 lakh from the Member of Legislative Assembly Constituency Development Scheme (MLACDS) funds of Pallavaram DMK MLA E. Karunanidhi.
