District Election Officer and District Collector S. Kandasamy has said that demonstration vans equipped with Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) will be deployed across all eight Assembly constituencies in the district to familiarise voters with the polling procedure.

In a release, the Collector said that the public would have the opportunity to participate in mock voting exercises in their respective localities. He urged voters to make use of these initiatives to better understand the voting process and ensure informed participation in the forthcoming election.
