File | Photo Credit: PTI The National Investigation Agency (NIA) conducted searches at nine locations across Jammu & Kashmir on Monday (March 23, 2026) in connection with the 2025 Delhi car bomb case. Searches were carried out in Srinagar, Baramulla, Jammu, Kulgam, Ganderbal and Handwara. Several digital devices were seized and sent for forensic analysis. The agency has so far arrested 11 people for their involvement in the blast near the Red Fort on November 10 last year. “The prime accused, Umer Un Nabi, was also killed in the explosion. During the investigation, it was found that Umer had masterminded the bombing in coordination with the arrested co-accused and others,” the NIA said.
