When the workers of matchbox manufacturing unit at Pandavarmangalam were unloading the matchsticks from the vehicle on Monday, fire broke out due to friction in which S. Karthik, 27 of Vijayapuri in Kovilpatti, M. Ganesan, 47, from Kerala, and Sudalaimuthu, 42, of Sivakasi sustained serious burns.
