In a bid to tackle monsoon flooding, the Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) on Wednesday gave in-principle approval to a ₹21,000-crore urban flood mitigation plan.

The decision was taken at a meeting of the DDMA attended by the Lieutenant-Governor Taranjit Singh Sandhu and Chief Minister Rekha Gupta.
