An eight-member delegation from Denmark held discussions with Minister for Higher Education and Social Justice R. Bindu, Minister for Local Self-Governments M.B. Rajesh and Minister for Health Veena George on Wednesday (January 8, 2025). The Danish delegation was led by the Minister of Senior Citizens Mette Kierkgaard and Denmark’s Ambassador to India Rasmus Abildgaard Kristensen. The discussions centred on issues pertaining to palliative care and care for the elderly, a government statement said. Additional Chief Secretary (Health) Rajan Khobragade and senior officials were also present.
