The Cyberabad Police have accumulated a total of 304 abandoned and unclaimed vehicles of various types and makes, which are currently pooled at the Moinabad police station ground and at Bowrampet under the Cyberabad Commissionerate. According to a press note issued by the police, the vehicles are proposed to be disposed of through an online or open public auction, as empowered under Sections 6(2) and 7 of the Cyberabad (Metropolitan Area) Police Act, 2004, read with Sections 39, 40 and 41 of the Hyderabad City Police Act. The particulars of the vehicles available at the Moinabad police station ground and Bowrampet are under the supervision of N. Veeralingam, MTO-II, Reserve Inspector, and are also available on the official website of the Cyberabad Police.
