In an effort to strengthen visible policing and reassure residents, the Cyberabad police intensified foot patrolling across several areas, with officers stepping out of patrol vehicles and interacting directly with people on the streets. The initiative, described by officials as a move to bring the police closer to the public, involves personnel from patrol units and Blue Colts leaving their vehicles and walking through busy roads, market areas, bus stands, residential colonies and narrow lanes during night hours. The aim is to observe ground-level activity more closely and encourage citizens to remain vigilant.
