The Cyberabad Municipal Corporation has announced a 5% rebate on property tax for the financial year 2026–27 under its early bird scheme, applicable to payments made before April 30. According to a note issued by the Additional Commissioner (Revenue), the rebate is being offered in line with provisions introduced through Act No. 15 of 2013, which amended the GHMC Act, 1955. The amendment allows a 5% rebate on property tax where the full tax for the current financial year is paid before April 30, irrespective of whether a bill or demand notice has been served.
