Cyber Crime Wing launches election awareness video

In view of the forthcoming election, the Cyber Crime Wing (CCW) has stepped up efforts to ensure a safe and misinformation-free digital environment by launching an election awareness video and public outreach campaign.

The awareness video, highlighting emerging cyber threats such as phishing links and disinformation during elections, was formally launched by Sandeep Mittal, Director General of Police, Cyber Crime Wing. SPs Shahnaz and Meenakshi were also present on the occasion. Officials said the video aims to sensitise citizens on identifying, verifying, and reporting suspicious online content, particularly during the election period.
