‘Crush armed gangs unleashing attacks on innocents’

The Tamil Nadu Government should crush armed thugs attacking innocents for no reasons as these anti-social elements are operating with the objective of tarnishing the government’s image, Tamil Nadu Congress Committee president K. Selvaperunthagai has said.

When an armed gang unleashed unprovoked attack on the people standing in front of a roadside teashop at Perumpathu Indra Colony near Nanguneri on Monday night, a physically challenged man, John of Indra Colony, and a brick kiln worker, Trinath Katta of Odisha, were murdered while seven others sustained grievous multiple cut injuries.
