Activists of the CPI (ML) Mass Line on Sunday staged a protest against Saturday’s U.S. military strikes on Venezuela in Khammam town. The party cadres took out a rally from Ramnarsaiah Vignana Kendram to Gattaiah Centre in protest against what they termed as ‘imperialist aggression’ on a sovereign country to capture the vast oil and natural resources of Venezuela. The protesters alleged that the U.S. strike on Venezuela was a brazen violation of the United Nations Charter. They called upon all democratic and progressive forces to condemn the ‘imperialist attack’ and express solidarity with the people of Venezuela. CPI (ML) Mass Line Khammam district secretary G. Venkateshwara Rao and others took part in the protest.
