CPI functionaries staging a demonstration in front of Tirunelveli railway junction on Saturday. | Photo Credit: SPECIAL ARRANGEMENT Cadres of Communist Party of India (CPI) staged demonstrations in Tirunelveli on Saturday, opposing the price hike of LPG cylinders and regular supply of domestic and commercial LPG cylinders. The protestors said that due to ongoing conflict in west asian counties, people were already struggling with rising prices and shortages of LPG cylinders. They urged the union government to ensure regular supply of gas cylinders and withdraw the price hike.
