A 65-year-old man and his wife were killed in a road accident near Sevvapet on the Chennai – Tiruvallur High Road on Friday after the car he was driving rammed an MTC bus coming from the opposite direction. The victims were identified as Ravichandran, 65, and his wife Geetha, 65, residents of Balaji Nagar, Veppampattu. Police sources said Ravichandran was driving the car, accompanied by his wife and two granddaughters, on their way to a temple in Tiruvallur.
